Case Study: Salvatore Martorana’s “Nuvola” Collection – Lightness Takes Shape

When Salvatore Martorana introduced us to his new collection of cashmere jackets, called “Nuvola”, his vision was crystal clear: to create images that captured the extreme lightness of the fabric, as if the jackets were floating in the air like clouds.

The Challenge

The concept of “Nuvola” required a unique visual approach. The aim was to present the jackets suspended, free from weight, almost ethereal, to showcase the quality and softness of the cashmere. We needed to highlight the sense of lightness while maintaining an elegant and sophisticated aesthetic aligned with the brand’s identity.

Our Solution

In our studio, we developed a custom technique to bring this vision to life. By using a system of controlled airflows and invisible supports, we managed to “inflate” the jackets, creating the effect of a garment that appeared worn, yet without the presence of a body. This allowed us to capture the softness and lightness of the fabric, making it truly resemble a floating cloud.

The Outcome

The final images hit the mark and were successfully used in international trade show campaigns and at Salvatore Martorana’s Milan store. Each shot evoked a sense of luxury and comfort, transforming the “Nuvola” collection into a visual experience that deeply resonated with the audience.

This project showcased how creativity and technique can lead to extraordinary results, making the images the true stars of the brand.
